Kristen Anne Bell, born 1980 in the United States of America is an actress and singer. She was born and raised in Huntington Woods Michigan as the daughter of Lorelei Frygier who was a nurse - and Tom Bell - a television director - she is an American actress and singer. Her heritage includes Polish (mother) and German, English, Irish and Scottish (father). Kristen realized her potential within the industry of entertainment when she was just a teenager. She went to her audition in 1992 and got an appearance on Raggedy Ann, and Andy. Bell was signed by her mother as an agent when she was only 13 years old. Then, she was selected for newspapers ads as well as commercials on TV. Now, Bell also begins classes in acting for herself. Bell was in a role of minor importance that was not credited to her for her part in Polish Wedding (1998), in 1998. Bell went to Shrine Catholic High School and was part of music as well as the drama club. Bell was chosen to play the lead role of Dorothy in her high school's performance of The Wizard of Oz. Bell was then transferred in New York City, to the Tisch School of the Arts. She studied musical theater at the Tisch School of the Arts. in 2001 Bell quit her university in order to portray the character as Becky in Tom Sawyer. She made her first film credits in Pootie Tang during 2001. The scene however cut, and Bell's only role is the credits at the end. Bell made an appearance on Broadway for the first time in The Crucible, a revival that featured Liam Neeson with Angela Bettis.
