Patricia Apollonia Kotero, an American singer and actress has been a model for a while. Her most well-known role was co-starring in the film of Prince's Purple Rain and for having been the main singer for the group of girls Apollonia 6. The 1980s saw the singer-actress Prince was christened Apollonia to be one of the many female performers to gain from their association with Prince. Following her appearance in minor movies (and reportedly refusing to be a part with The Purple Rain film Under the Cherry Moon) her name was mentioned and she was cast in the 1985-1986 nighttime drama Falcon Crest. Apollonia released her first album in 1988, but it was an average album of dance music and R&B that did not really attract the attention of the general public. The album quickly disappeared out of sight. During the following decade, she continued to work in the field of acting (if somewhat under the radar) and also in a few television roles, films as well as an exercise video. Apollonia made a bilingual CD entitled Stay with me in 1997. The singer returned to the university, received a diploma in making films. Then she founded her company and worked in children's TV. Apollonia has many hats. She was a model, actress, and manager of talent. The year 1984 was the time she was recognized for her performance as a singer in Purple Rain. Other films and TV shows are Black Magic Woman, The Divorce Ceremony and many more. Kotero debuted her career as a model. She competed in many pageants.
