Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue ellis-taylor, an American screen and stage actor and producer. Her most well-known work is as a film actress due to her role in Ray Undercover Brother (Ray Undercover Brother) and The Mentalist. She received a Bachelor of Arts in African-American Studies at Brown University as well as a Masters in Fine Arts in Acting from the Tisch School for the Arts New York University. Aunjanue is l. Her career began as an actor in theater but then proceeded to make appearances in numerous TV shows, both mainstream and independent films. Her most well-known role was Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico and appeared on BET's epic series The Book of Negroes for which she received not just critical acclaim but also a number of awards and nominations including the Television Critics Choice Award nomination for Best Actress in a Movie. She made her professional debut with the character Ariel in The Tempest in 1995. The credits on stage are Come and Gone Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis, a Broadway production directed by Joe Turner. In the film industry she is most famous for parts like Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express or The Help. In television, her role in ABC's police drama High Incident is well known.
